1. I-Citronellal isetshenziswa kakhulu njengezinto zokusetshenziswa zokwenziwa kwe-citronellol, i-hydroxycitronellal, i-menthol nokunye okunjalo. Ingasetshenziswa ngenani elincane lelamula eliphansi, i-cologne, i-magnolia, i-lily of the valley, uju kanye nephunga elimnandi, ikakhulukazi ngoba inomphumela wegesi eluhlaza okotshani.
